DESCRIPTION:The Riverhead Chamber of Commerce\, Downtown Riverhead BID and the Town of Riverhead invite you to join us at the 2023 Cardboard Boat Race\n\n\n\nAugust 5\, 2023 (rain date 8/12/23). \n\nPre-registration is required and must be done online at: www.riverheadchamber.com.\n\n** Registration closes 8/1/23\n\n \n\nCheck in is 9:00 AM day of event and races start at 11:00 AM. There will be music\, face painting\, games\, contests and more!  \n\nIn addition to cardboard\, duct tape and paint... creativity\, a sense of humor and adventure are all that is required.\n\nRACE DIVISIONS\n\nYOUTH REGATTA - ALL crew members must be 12 years old & under\n\nGRAND NATIONAL REGATTA - ALL crew members must be over 12 years old\n\nYACHT CLUB REGATTA - Any combination of ages on board\n\nOUTLAW RACE - If you are still afloat here's a second chance to race again and go for the gold! (no need to register online)\n\n\n\n1st\, 2nd & 3rd place winners will be announced in each of the divisions.\n\nAs per tradition... Special Awards will be given out to: Best Spirit\; Titanic Sinking\; People's Choice\; Best Constructed (no tubes)\; Best Captain\; Most Creative\; Commander's Choice.\n\n \n* To complete registration you must click 'I Agree' on the dropdown menu under Waiver Liabilities \n\n\n\n* Be sure to select your T-Shirt size!\n\n(T-shirt is included in entry fee for registered crew and available for purchase to landlubbers for $25) \n\n\n\nBOXES FOR DONATIONS OF SCHOOL SUPPLIES WILL BE AVAILABLE RACE DAY!
