Pink Pearl Gift Basket Raffle

Riverhead – The North Fork Breast Health Coalition will celebrate breast-cancer survivors and thrivers as well as providers and caregivers at the NFBHC Annual Pink Pearl Gala on Friday, April 11. Since the evening was such a success last year, the gala will be held again at the Sea Star Ballroom at Hyatt Place, Riverhead. 
 
Seating is still available for this year’s gala, which is sponsored by Simmons Point Group of Janney Montgomery Scott LLC, Connie Hayes and Mattituck Lions. However, even if you cannot attend, you can participate in the Pink Pearl Gift Basket Raffle, which benefits the NFBHC Keri Lynn Stromski Stage IV Breast Cancer Research and Support Fund that was founded in 2021. 
 
Several dozen gift baskets donated by local businesses can be previewed, and raffle tickets purchased beforehand as well as during the gala. The pre-sale is held at the North Fork Breast Cancer Coalition office, 185 Old Country Road (across from DMV), Riverhead, April 4-6 (Friday, 4-8 PM; Saturday,10AM-4 PM; Sunday, 10 AM-2 PM). 

For prizes worth $250 to $900, raffle ticket prices are 10 tickets for $10 and 30 tickets for $25. For grand prizes worth $1,000 or more, tickets are $25 each and 5 tickets are $100. Winners are drawn the evening of the gala. The NFBHC Stage IV Fund provides financial support to oncologists who are treating local patients and are actively doing cutting-edge research on extending and saving lives of Stage IV breast cancer patients. The fund also supports Stage IV thrivers who often have unexpected costs and expenses associated with their treatment.
