Shannon is a graduate of Long Island University with a BA in 2013. She has been in the insurance industry for 8 years, holding her NY State License for Property & Casualty, and Life, Accident, Health. Currently she is a Risk Specialist in the commercial lines marketing department at Borg & Borg. In 2014 she founded NY Safe Driver and offers the 6 hour online defensive driving and in person classes for businesses. In her free time she can be found volunteering for local charities and is also on the Board of Directors for the North Fork Breast Health Coalition. Her hobbies include cooking, baking, spending time anywhere near a beach, hiking her way through all of the National Parks and traveling to check off all 50 States!
